The Santo Domingo Temple
The convent was founded since 1690 with the aim of giving attention to the missionaries who fell ill on their way to the evangelization of the Sierra Gorda. Its history continues when on September 6, 1823 the funeral urns with the skulls of Miguel Hidalgo, Ignacio Allende, Mariano Jiménez, the remains of Francisco Javier Mina and Pedro Moreno arrived at it. In this place they were veiled, a fact which is worth visiting.
