In 2014 this building of architectural beauty was declared a National Artistic Monument. Inaugurated in 1944, belonging to the Mier y Pesado Foundation, considered as unique in the State of Veracruz due to its size and shape, similar to an eclectic style Castle. Recently remodeled and converted into a Cultural Center housing the Francisco Gabilondo Soler Cri-Cri Museum, the Costume Museum and the Orizaba Museum yesterday and today, with the presidents 'room and the casitas' room.
