About Archaeological Zone Pomona

Thanks to the archaeological pieces found at this site, Pomoná or Pakbul, has a valuable contribution to the history of the Mayan people thanks to the monuments with inscriptions that narrate the political relations with lordships such as Palenque or Piedras Negras.

Here you will find hills with scattered buildings and you can visit one of the six architectural complexes where you will be amazed by the Central Plaza and the 13 buildings that surround it.
