Sierra Gorda Biosphere Reserve
It extends from Queretaro to the northeastern part of the state of Guanajuato. Within it live several endangered species, such as jaguars, green macaws and butterflies Humboldt. It is the seventh book in size from Mexico and the most diverse ecosystems. For the cultural richness of flora and fauna, the Franciscan missions and its natural wealth, it is classified as the main biosphere of central Mexico.
