One of the 14 buildings that are part of the Ruta de los Conventos, was founded by the Augustinians in 1534, being the first that this order founded in America. The cloister fountain is still conserved, which stands out for the six lions carved in stone. The main square had another source: Las Sirenas and, although this one is gone, you can still see the four mermaids on the stairs and the cloister. A beautiful construction that you will have to visit.
