About The Paricutin Volcano

The youngest volcano in the world was born on February 20, 1943. In a matter of hours the earth began to tremble, opened and began to throw thick steam and stones. Thanks to a peasant who warned the town, there were no human victims, however two towns were buried: Paricutín and San Juan. From the latter you can see the tower of the church that remained intact being the only witness of the eruption.
