About Mission of Loreto and Museum
It was founded in the year 1697. It is the first mission to settle in Baja California, hence it is known as the "Mother of all missions of the Californias". This place to visit was built in honor of the Virgin of Loreto, inside are paintings and next to it is the Museum of Missions, where religious objects of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries are exhibited.
