Bonampak

Bonampak is a remarkable example of the ancient Mayan culture, is located on the banks of the river Lacanjá, covered by evergreen forest, which is considered the richest and most complex ecosystem of all plant communities. The importance lies in its most famous temple, known as "paints" a small building with three quarters whose walls and vaults are completely covered with bright polychrome paintings, true historical records showing the customs, clothing, physical characteristics, organization social, political and religious of the Mayan world.
