Janos

Janos area has been considered a priority for conservation in North America, the most notable feature of the site is the largest wild herd of buffalo left in Mexico, in addition to the 383 species of wildlife, of which 79 are mammals , 257 birds, 34 reptiles and amphibians 13. Among those who are in danger of extinction to name a few are the jaguar, black bear, antelope and porcupine north.
