Banco Chinchorro

It is a coral barrier reef with over 70 different species of reef, lagoon reef three keys and the ocean. It is part of Mexico reef reserves and Wetlands of International level. Although the predominant ecosystem is the coral reef in the area also mangroves, palms and tree growth. His three Keys (Cayo Norte, Cayo Centro and Cayo Lobos) are visited each year by sea turtles that nest is its beaches.
