The Michilia

The Michilía is located in the municipality of SUCHEL, in the southeastern corner of the state of Durango. The typical habitat of the reserve is a mixed forest of encinopino and a variety of natural grasslands and chaparral. The importance of the reserve is conservation deer, the Mexican gray wolf, cougar, coyote, wild turkey, the eagle, the thick-billed parrot and a large number of birds.
