The Triunfo

The reserve protects some of the last remaining tracts of forest still exist and ancient forests of the Pacific coast, protects one of the last remnants of cloud forests, as well as being a refuge for dozens of rare, endemic and endangered , including birds such as the resplendent quetzal, the tanager blue, the peacock cuckold, the green tucansillo and mammals such as tapir, puma and the spider monkey.
