Montes Azules

is located at the eastern end of the state of Chiapas, the central region of the area known as the Lacandon Jungle, the west and north is a mountainous region that includes some karst gorges and valleys separated by medium-altitude mountains and plateaus. Includes a huge degree of biodiversity to be considered the richest region in species of different groups of animals and plants in the country, some of them endangered and are representative of our culture and habitat, such as the jaguar, the scarlet macaw , harpy eagle and tapirs.
