Pink Flamencos Sanctuary

The estuary is the natural habitat of the Mexican Flamenco, along the marsh is savannah vegetation. Of the five species of flamingos in the world, living in the swamps of Yucatan is the largest, as the birds grow to be 1.20 meters and is also the most colorful, thanks to high carotene content of shrimp larvae consuming in the area.
