Protective Town of San Miguel el Grande

The city of San Miguel de Allende, formerly San Miguel el Grande was founded in the sixteenth century in order to protect the royal road of the country. In the historic center of interest is the vast majority its buildings, masterpieces of the baroque and neoclassical style that developed at that time, among them are: the Parish of San Miguel Archangel, Temple of Our Lady of Health, Temple San Francisco de Asis, House of Estate Temple of the Immaculate Conception and the historic Museo Casa de Don Ignacio Allende.
