Pico of Tancitaro

It is part of the neo-volcanic axis transverse axis aka Neovolcáncio Transmexican, is considered as a haven for plant and animal species. The main plant species are forests of fir, pine and oak. The fauna is composed of white-tailed deer, armadillo, ringtail or cacomisel, gray fox, songbirds and prey, as well as various reptiles.
