Lagoon Madre and Delta of River Bravo

Mother gap is one of five world hypersaline ecosystems. It has a rich and biodiversity due to its location, it is present in a complex of tidal marshes that form critical habitat for resident and migratory birds. Colorado River Delta is still of great importance for the conservation of biodiversity, as a part of the river flow is intended to maintain wetlands.
