Description Jungle of Ocote

El Ocote protects one of the center's most important biodiversity Mexico and the world, as it is located in a transition zone two Neotropical provinces. Its importance lies in the more than 350 species and at least 38 species of North American migratory birds that use the reserve on their migratory routes and wintering refuge and remain on the site for six to nine months each year. It is also considered as one of the largest forest reserves in Mesoamerica.
