Santa Elena Canyon

This impressive canyon is 14 km long and its walls reach up to 500 m. The canyon area includes the mountains of El Ranchito, Sierra Rica and El Mulato and valleys of the Alamo, Chapo, El Mulato and Rancho Blanco, home to various species of flora and fauna as well as birds and mammals that have adapted to the aridity of the area, such as wild cats, deer and some birds of prey.
