About Candelaria Temple
This unique temple built in the late seventeenth century has pastel colors inside the Catalan statue of Our Lady of Candelaria, which distinguish it from other churches; besides its decoration that is Moorish-style, which is seen in the domes and vaults, made of coral stone brought from Veracruz, contrasting with the neoclassical altarpiece.
