About Hacienda of Santa Maria
This 18th century hacienda has great historical value as it becomes a temporary lodging for insurgents. When Saltillo left on March 17, 1811, Miguel Hidalgo and his co-religionists arrived at this place. Although the fact is not confirmed, it is said that in his chapel of the Virgin of the Rosary he offered his last mass. Although the place is not in the best conditions, it still has a great historical weight.
