It is the smallest national park in Mexico, its importance lies in the number of sabo trees (ahuehetes), emblematic trees linked to the national culture since pre-Hispanic times, that live to more than 500 years. In the interior the park also has a community center, swimming pool, barbecue, palapas, forums, games and offers a tour of the interior of the park on a small train.
