City Hall
Built between 1939 and 1941, is located in the main square next to the Church of San Francisco. With a rustic neoclassical style, was inspired for some decorations in the Basilica of St. John Lateran in Rome.
What is striking is the replica of the sculpture Cuauhtémoc whose original is located in the Paseo de la Reforma in Mexico. He placed it on top of the building, is a manifesto of syncretism between colonial and indigenous.
