About Cuetzalan Flying People
On a trunk about 30 feet, known as 'the sacred stick', danced indigenous to ask the gods a good crop since pre-Hispanic times and thus feed its people. Up to him for five dancers, four are the cardinal points and a leader who personifies the sun.
