About Ola Verde (green wave)
Very near the port of Manzanillo, Cuyutlán is one of the best places to surf in Mexico. The place also enjoys fame because of its well-known Green Wave, which appears when the sun begins to set and is reflected in the sea. It is more common than you can see during the months of April and May, but certainly will distinguish since its greenish color is due to the phosphorescent plankton and algae from the sea.
